I created a small vertical slice of a cover shooter as this was a prototype for my Unit 75 level design project. This was the testing ground for the Unit 75 stealth game level. This project focused heavily on AI development and combat design. I improved on those aspects because Unit 75 depended on them.
While this project was done for college, it was built on an experiential retro game, as the controls are similar to those games; however, the gameplay improvements were to the wall runner system and gunplay.
The AI was built on a finite state machine experimenting with scriptable objects acting as different states within the finite state machine.
